Job summary

Qualifications

• High School education is required.
• Registration or Registry eligible is preferred.
• Experience: At least one year in an EEG Lab.

Responsibilities

• Understands nerve conduction instrumentation principles and safety.
• Places recording and stimulation electrodes according to standards.
• Calibrates and evaluates equipment for quality recordings.
• Identifies nerve pathways to be studied and determines appropriate stimulation levels.
• Monitors patient cooperation and eliminates artifacts.
• Maintains documentation of responses, latencies and velocities.
• Participates in quality improvement activities and compliance with policies.
