Xcel Energy seeks a Senior Consultant – Operations & Planning in Energy Supply to lead regulatory compliance programs, coordinate NERC standards, and drive governance across multiple teams. The role partners with corporate functions to ensure audit readiness and continuous improvement while supporting reliability objectives in a hybrid work environment.

You will direct the Energy Supply Compliance Plan, develop policies, manage audits, and liaise with internal units and external groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or business administration, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of current NERC requirements and regulations.
• 8+ years in power generation or equivalent operations.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience with large cross-functional projects.

Responsibilities

• Direct Energy Supply compliance plan and regulatory filings.
• Develop and maintain policies to ensure compliance.
• Coordinate NERC reliability standards and audit processes.
• Lead standards development and liaison with internal/external groups.
• Support governance and internal controls programs.
