Job summary

Terrestris, LLC seeks a Physician (Nephrology) to support the Veteran community in Huntington, WV. The role is open to Locum or Traveling candidates with standard clinic hours and potential for VA-aligned responsibilities.

The position emphasizes direct patient care, dialysis management, and procedural nephrology within a VA-aligned setting, with comprehensive benefits and stable contract terms.

Qualifications

• MD degree from an allopathic or osteopathic medical school.
• Current, full, unrestricted medical license in the US or DC.
• Board certification in nephrology.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• VA experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care with nephrology services: AKI, CKD, ESKD, electrolyte disorders, hypertension.
• Manage kidney replacement therapy: hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and access.
• Perform procedures: central/femoral catheters and kidney biopsy when contracted.
• Administrative duties: credentialing/onboarding and related processes.
