Job summary

The Brooklyn Hospital Center is seeking a Nephrology Physician for the Dialysis Center in Brooklyn. You will provide direct nephrology care, contribute to center operations, and participate in teaching medical students and residents.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality nephrology care across outpatient, inpatient, and ambulatory settings, while supporting research and patient safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• MD/DO in Nephrology with residency and fellowship completed.
• Board certification in Nephrology required.
• Current NYS physician license and DEA registration.
• CPET and cardiac rehab experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nephrology care to inpatients and outpatients, including consultations and follow-up.
• Support Dialysis Center operations: staffing, scheduling, coverage, documentation, and compliance.
• Help develop and update clinical protocols and guidelines for nephrology care.
• Collaborate with Medical Director on physician recruitment and retention.
