Qualifications
At least two years of clinical rotation in various medical, surgical, and other specialty areas.
Previous experience as a physician assistant or physician assistant fellowship experience preferred.
Advanced Life Support certification (ACLS, PALS) preferred.
Responsibilities
Supports the mission, philosophy, standards, goals, and objectives of the institution.
Educates patients and families to promote healthy adjustments to health patterns.
Evaluates treatment plans for effectiveness and modifies as necessary.
Prescribes medications and therapies according to protocols and laws.
Works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to implement patient care.
