Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Nephrology Physician for locum tenens support. The role features a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with on-call responsibilities within a hybrid practice setting.

Responsibilities include general nephrology cases and procedures such as placement of central and femoral venous dialysis catheters and percutaneous kidney biopsies. Credentialing is expected within about 60 days; CPRS EMR is used.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in Nephrology.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Active and unrestricted state medical license.

Responsibilities

• Provide nephrology care in a locum tenens capacity.
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm with on-call.
• Perform central and femoral venous dialysis catheter placements and percutaneous kidney biopsies.
• Coordinate credentialing within about 60 days.

This facility is seeking a Nephrology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:0am-4:30pm, call is required
• Practice Setting: Hybrid
• Type of cases and required procedures: General Nephrology cases; procedures include placement of central and femoral venous dialysis catheters and percutaneous kidney biopsies
• Credentialing timeframe: 60 days
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): CPRS
• Certifications required: Board Certified/Board Eligible, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
• Licensure required: Any active and unrestricted state license is accepted
