Job description

DirectShifts is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nephrologist to join our team in providing specialized care to patients with kidney diseases and related conditions in the vibrant city of Ohio.

Job Description:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with various kidney diseases, including chronic kidney disease (CKD), acute kidney injury (AKI), glomerulonephritis, and kidney stones.
  • Manage patients with hypertension and electrolyte disorders, which often accompany kidney disease.
  • Oversee dialysis treatments for patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD).
  • Perform kidney biopsies and interpret diagnostic tests.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate patients on kidney health and disease prevention.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in nephrology through ongoing professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Nephrology
  • Valid medical license in Ohio State
  • Extensive experience in diagnosing and treating kidney diseases
  • Proficiency in managing dialysis and other renal replacement therapies
  • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
