  • BLS certification within two weeks of hire.
  • Legible printing, clear speaking voice, typing/computer skills.
  • Mature, courteous deportment.
  • Driver’s license free of violations (SJRIR).

Preferred Qualifications
  • Medical terminology knowledge before unit orientation or documentation of formal class within three years
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Multi‑language ability
Physical Demands
  • Meets OSHA training requirements
  • Potential exposure to blood and bodily fluids
  • Intermittent or prolonged standing, walking, and sitting
  • Repetitive motions such as wrist/hand movements, typing, filing
  • Ability to lift greater than fifty (50) pounds and push up to three hundred (300) pounds using approved hospital transport devices
  • Accepts the risk of job‑related illness and injury which may cause long‑term health problems
