Qualifications

• BSN is required.
• Master’s degree in Advanced Practice in the area of specialty is required.
• Current NYS RN license is required.
• Current NYS NP license in area of specialty is required.
• BLS through the American Heart Association is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage care for nephrology patients following approved protocols and departmental policies.
• Support physicians in the nephrology department and collaborate with the health care team.
• Rounding occurs at inpatient locations and at dialysis centers.
• Provide follow-up care and coordinate patient plans.
