Job summary

Methodist Hospital Metropolitan, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered nephrology care in a collaborative environment. You will assess patients on admission and every shift, administer medications, document care, and educate families about treatment plans.

Eligible candidates hold an RN license valid in Texas or a multi-state license with Texas eligibility within 60 days, and a current AHA BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program.
• Minimum of six (6) months of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse.
• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License.
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient's condition during admission and each shift, report changes.
• Administer medications, monitor therapeutic response, and document care.
• Provide exceptional care by promptly responding to patient requests and needs.
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment, medications, and follow-up measures.
