Job summary
Kidney Specialists Of Southern Nevada is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to promote quality patient care across CKD follow-up, dialysis care, and hospital rounding. You will work with physicians and management to improve patient outcomes and drive program success in a busy nephrology practice.
The role emphasizes collaboration with clinic leadership, ongoing protocol improvement, and leadership/mentorship for clinical staff while providing direct patient care in CKD and dialysis settings.
Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited APRN Nursing School.
- Active, unrestricted State of Nevada Nurse Practitioner license.
- Nephrology experience as an APN, RN or dialysis tech preferred, but not required.
- CPR/BLS certification.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with EMR and computer skills.
- Bilingual a plus.
Responsibilities
- See patients per schedule for CKD follow up and management.
- Collaborate with Physician Clinic Director and Supervising Physician for feedback on cases and treatment plans.
- Provide clinical support including direct patient care.
- Stay up to date with CKD management recommendations (RPA, ASN, NKF).
- Review protocols and suggest revisions based on updates and best practices.
- Lead CKD patient educational programs and content development.
