Research Medical Center in Kansas City seeks a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (Nephro-Metabolic) to lead patient care, coordinate nursing services, and support staff in a high-volume unit. The CNC guides care delivery, mentors staff, and partners with leadership to uphold the hospital's care standards.

The role emphasizes patient-centered outcomes, collaboration with the management team, and participation in nursing initiatives to advance clinical excellence.

Formación

• RN license required (state).
• ACLS and BCLS certifications preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.
• Participate in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services in the unit.
• Collaborate with managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes.
• Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
• Operationalize nursing strategies, including staff rounding and hourly rounds.
• Provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting and training staff and related actions.
• Assist with staff scheduling and manage labor in line with productivity guidelines.
• Support inventory control and equipment management.
