Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center—Nephrology on Burnet Campus is seeking a full-time Clinical Operations leader. This role provides direct supervision to front-office and clinical staff, coordinates daily workflow, and updates care policies in collaboration with division leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 3+ years of work experience in a related job discipline
• Cert Clinical Research Coord OR Certified Clinical Research Associate (CRA)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision to clinical front-office staff in patient care and related duties.
• Assign or reassign work duties as daily workflow requires in coordination with division operations.
• Update division patient care policies and procedures in collaboration with division leadership.
• Assist in quality assurance reviews.
• Coordinate routine instrument maintenance.
• Address patient/family concerns and questions.
• Grant Administration - design, participate and collaborate in departmental and interdepartmental grant and research projects.
• Conduct ongoing evaluation and mentoring of direct reports, including annual performance evaluations.
• Ensure staff is properly trained to perform job functions.
• Determine and monitor implementation of continuing education goals of the department and provide educational opportunities for department staff.
• Ensure departmental initiatives and policies are communicated to reports.
• Maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulatory requirements (e.g., JCAHO, HIPAA).
• Design and/or implement programs to ensure compliance and track relevant laws and regulations.
• Prepare compliance reports and communicate results as necessary.
• Support development of research systems and processes for growth in collaboration with principal investigators.
• Organize annual research needs assessment.
• Participate in planning, design, measurement, and improvement of division services.
• Collaborate with faculty and managers on new project development, budgeting, and contract negotiations.
