Job description

Position Highlights:

  • Position: Nephrologist
  • Location: Evanston, IL
  • Full Time


A Brief Overview:
The Division of Nephrology at NorthShore is comprised of seven faculty members, several who have a subspecialty focus, six nurse practitioners and one dietician. The physicians work very closely with each other and look forward to welcoming an excellent Nephrologist to their highly collegial group.

What you will do:

  • This position will include teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows and an opportunity to participate in clinical research.
  • NorthShore's Research Institute and collaboration with the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, provide an excellent infrastructure to allow the candidate to manage both aspects of this role.
  • The Division has a large active ongoing clinical research program with NIH funding that been running for 20 years.

  • Illinois Medical License or pending

  • BC/BE in Nephrology
