Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Division of Nephrology, seeks a board certified/eligible nephrologist to join our collaborative team. This 100% nephrology practice includes inpatient consults, outpatient hemodialysis, general nephrology and peritoneal dialysis clinics, with opportunities to train in Therapeutic Apheresis and engage in teaching and research.

Responsibilities

• Practice 100% nephrology in multiple settings including in-patient consults, outpatient hemodialysis, nephrology clinic and peritoneal dialysis clinic.
• Opportunity to train in Therapeutic Apheresis modalities.
• Engage in scholarly activities including teaching students, residents, nephrology fellows and clinical research.
• Partner with SAC Health System and Guam Seventh-day Adventist Clinic to serve underserved communities.

Job description

Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Division of Nephrology is seeking a Board certified/eligible Nephrologist to join our dynamic and highly collaborative group of 10 Nephrologists.

This is 100% Nephrology practice that offers the opportunity to practice Academic Nephrology caring for a wide variety of patients. The successful candidate will have a clinical faculty appointment and will be practicing general nephrology in different settings including in-patient consults, out-patient hemodialysis, general Nephrology clinic, peritoneal dialysis clinic along with specialty clinic.

Our candidate will have the opportunity to get training in Therapeutic Apheresis modalities and participate in care for patients in need of Apheresis. There will be opportunity to participate in scholarly activities including teaching medical students, residents, nephrology fellows and conduct clinical research.

Faculty within the Department of Medicine are welcome to explore academic pursuits through teaching and/or research, as well as provide care to the underserved through our partnerships with SAC Health System in the Inland Empire and Guam Seventh-day Adventist Clinic in Micronesia. Compensation & Benefits

The compensation range listed is for starting base compensation only and is adjusted based upon years of experience and/or faculty rank: $265,000 - $295,000. This amount does not include variable compensation or extra productivity and is subject to the individual department compensation plans. More information on compensation is discussed with the departments during the recruitment process.
