Many UHP physicians have teaching responsibilities for residents, fellows, and medical students. The UMKC SOM accepts students directly out of high school for a six-year combined baccalaureate / Doctor of Medicine program. The UMKC SOM Graduate Medical Education program supports over 30 residencies and fellowships.

Job Description
Nephrologist - Provide nephrology care to patients at the facilities in Kansas City, Missouri; and provide clinical instruction and training to medical students and residents at the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Medicine. Requires M.D. or professional equivalent level degree in Medicine; Missouri medical license eligible; & completion of 24 months of ACGME fellowship in Nephrology.
