Henry Ford Hospital Seeks a BE/BC Nephrologist - Senior Staff Physician

Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, is looking for a BE/BC nephrologist interested in developing a clinical practice at one of the nation's most prestigious healthcare institutions as a Senior Staff Physician.

The role includes outpatient clinical nephrology and hypertension management, inpatient consultation services, and rounding in dialysis units for peritoneal dialysis and hemodialysis. Renal replacement therapy will typically be conducted within in-center hemodialysis units operated by Greenfield Health Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of Henry Ford Hospital. The candidate must meet all credentialing requirements of Greenfield Health Systems, as determined by its Chief Medical Officer.

Candidates will join the 1,900-member Henry Ford Medical Group, collaborating with colleagues across more than 40 medical and surgical specialties. Documentation within the organization's EPIC electronic medical record is required. Participation in teaching and research activities is actively encouraged where feasible.

Minimum Qualifications

• Completion of a three-year ACGME-approved internal medicine residency
• Active State of Michigan medical license
• Active DEA license
• At least one year of postgraduate clinical practice
• Certification during fellowship in continuous renal replacement therapies, kidney biopsy, and central venous catheter insertions using ultrasound guidance
