AKS Engineering & Forestry, LLC seeks a NEPA Director to lead our NEPA and environmental permitting practice, with a focus on energy, transmission, infrastructure, and transportation projects. This is a hands-on leadership role to develop client relationships, win work, and guide project delivery.

You’ll own projects from pursuit to final decisions, mentor a team of PMs and subject-matter experts, and ensure deliverables are technically sound, compliant, and on schedule.

Qualifications

• 10–20+ years of NEPA experience with federal environmental review and permitting.
• Active relationships with federal/state agencies, utilities, developers, and repeat clients.
• Proven track record of generating new business and securing awards.

Responsabilités

• Generate at least $1M in annual NEPA revenue through BD and client relationships.
• Lead NEPA and environmental permitting efforts (EA/EIS, programmatic reviews, etc.).
• Own projects from pursuit through final decision documents as primary client contact.
• Develop scopes of work, pricing, budgets, schedules, contracts, and risk management plans; negotiate fees.
• Mentor and lead a team of project managers and subject-matter experts.
