UNC Health Rex in Raleigh, NC, is seeking a Neonatologist for per diem coverage in a Level III NICU. The role involves providing comprehensive neonatal care, evaluating critically ill newborns, and attending high-risk deliveries.

Shifts are scheduled to support the existing neonatology team during planned and unplanned absences.
Other information:
Active member of the Rex Hospital Medical Staff, including meeting the Board Certification requirements. Graduation from an accredited school of medicine.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
DEA; NRP; MD
Professional Experience Requirements:
Prefer prior hospitalist experience.
Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
Language Skills: Should be able to communicate proficiently in English.
High-level quantitative and qualitative reasoning skills are essential in order to diagnose medical and clinical issues presented by patients.
North Carolina Medical License, DEA License, BLS/Neonatal Resuscitation certification preferred. Board certified/eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
