Location:

Facility:

A medical center delivering access to comprehensive care from some of the most experienced physicians in Kansas.

Opportunity:

• Well-respected and established Neonatology practice in Wichita, KS, is recruiting for a Neonatologist interested in an evolving QI team-based management opportunity.
• Full-time BC/BE Neonatologist position available.
• 8-physician practice at Wesley Medical Center.
• Combination of 8 and 24-hour shifts on a 7-week rotating schedule. 1.0 FTE does approximately 170 hours per month of in-house coverage.
• Neonatologists provide in-house call and backup call from home.
• Level-III, 60-bed NICU.
• Approximately 6,000 deliveries each year at the hospital.
• The intensive and special care units have around 1,000 admissions annually, with an average daily census of 54.
• All services except ECMO and heart surgery.
• Supported by residents and nurse practitioners.
• Affiliated with KU School of Medicine Wichita, offering extensive QI and research opportunities.
• Eligible for the federal school loan forgiveness program.
