Job description

We are seeking a Neonatologist for the position of Medical Director as part of the Children’s Hospital expansion. The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) provides care to approximately 850 infants annually. It serves as the training ground for residents in Pediatrics, Medicine/Pediatrics, Family Medicine, and Neonatal-Perinatal Fellows. The unit is staffed by Neonatal Nurse Practitioners 24/7.

State-of-the-art facility highlights:

1. More than 160 inpatient and outpatient beds
2. Single 50-bed, Level III NICU with 21 additional convalescent beds
3. Pediatric Hematology/Oncology unit with isolation capability
4. Pediatric Operating Suite with pre- and post-anesthesia and short stay beds
5. Outpatient procedural unit
6. Pediatric Emergency Department opening Spring 2012
