Adelphi Medical Staffing, LLC is sourcing a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner for an in-hospital NICU assignment in Fredericksburg, Virginia. The role requires daytime collaboration with Neonatologists, as well as nighttime in-house coverage with on-call Neonatologists. 8-bed Level III NICU with newborn caseload of 9–11 daily.

The candidate must be Board Certified as an NNP, hold an active Virginia APRN license and a current APRN national specialty certification, with minimum 1 year of NICU experience.

Qualifications

• Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner required.
• Active Virginia APRN license required.
• Current APRN national specialty certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as NNP.

Responsibilities

• Provide daytime collaboration with Neonatologists in managing NICU patients.
• Provide nighttime in-house coverage with Neonatologist on call (30-minute response).
• Attend deliveries and perform neonatal resuscitation as needed.
• Educate RN and RT teams on neonatal care protocols.
• Manage patient care in an 8-bed Level III NICU with average daily census of 9-11.
