Job summary

Adelphi Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced Neonatal APP to oversee daily care of neonates in a Level II NICU in Lancaster, PA. The 3-bed unit operates with 24-hour shifts, supported by RNs, PA/NP backup, and office staff.

Responsibilities include direct neonatal care, collaboration with attending physicians, and performing procedures such as UVC/UAC lines, chest tubes, LPs, and intubations. Board-certified PA with active PA license preferred.

Qualifications

• Active PA license or IMLC; Board-certified (BC) required.
• BLS, PALS, NRP certifications.
• Proficiency with UVC/UAC lines, chest tubes, LPs and intubations; Epic EMR experience; team-based patient care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily care of neonates in Level II NICU.
• APPs work with MDs but oversee daily care of the babies.
• Collaborate with attending physicians for patient management.
• Perform procedures including UVC/UAC lines, chest tubes, lumbar punctures, and intubations.
• Provide care for newborns in the nursery as needed.
