Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine announces a Division Head – Neonatology in the Department of Pediatrics. The role leads clinical care, research, education, advocacy and operations across Lurie Children’s Hospital and affiliated NICUs.

The ideal candidate is an MD or DO (or MD/PhD) with board certification in Pediatrics and Neonatology-Perinatal Medicine, 5–7 years post-fellowship experience, and Illinois licensure or eligibility. Start date negotiable; base pay range provided.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or MD/PhD required; board-certified in Pediatrics and Neonatology-Perinatal Medicine.
• Minimum 5–7 years of post-fellowship clinical experience in neonatology.
• Illinois medical licensure or ability to obtain licensure.

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic leadership and execute the division's vision across clinical care, research, education, advocacy and administration.
• Oversee divisional operations, philanthropy and grant funding in collaboration with leadership.
• Mentor faculty and fellows to support career development and academic growth.
• Represent the division in interactions with department and hospital leadership, external groups and donors.
