Job summary

The University of Virginia Department of Pediatrics and Division of Neonatology invites applications for a Neonatology faculty member at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. This position can be tenure-eligible (Clinical Educator Track) or tenure-ineligible (Clinical Faculty Track).

The ideal candidate is board certified/board eligible with strong clinical skills and a career focused on education, quality improvement, or other academic pursuits.

Qualifications

• Board eligible or board certified in Neonatology and eligible for Virginia licensure.
• Academic track can be tenure-eligible or tenure-ineligible, with emphasis on education and research.

Responsibilities

• Provide neonatal clinical care and education within UVA NICU.
• Contribute to quality improvement, research, and fellowship education.
• Collaborate with obstetrics and maternal-fetal medicine colleagues.
• Participate in NETS and telehealth initiatives as described.
