The Division of Neonatal Perinatal Medicine at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C. is seeking a full-time Neonatologist at the Assistant/Associate Professor level. The candidate should be Board Eligible/Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine with a strong commitment to excellence in patient care, teaching, and an area of interest inresearch. The MedStar Georgetown University Hospital NICU is a level 4 unit with high frequency ventilation, iNO, ECMO, therapeutic hypothermia, and a robust neonatal transport system with iNO, HFV, and therapeutic hypothermia during interfacility transport. The division has an active NPM fellowship and residency training programs and a diverse faculty with several interests including infant mortality reduction, global health, new modalities of assisted ventilation, neonatal hematology, neurology, infectious disease, quality improvement, human milk, nutrition, apnea and BPD.
