Job summary

Nemours Children's Health seeks board-certified/board-eligible Neonatologists to join our growing team at partner locations in Dover, DE, Philadelphia, PA, Vineland, NJ, and Mullica Hill, NJ. You will care for premature infants and critically ill newborns within a collaborative, pediatric-focused system.

You will work with experienced teams across units, participate in deliveries, and contribute to quality and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited Pediatrics residency and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine fellowship.
• Board certification or board eligibility in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of the selected practice location.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical decision-making skills.
• Commitment to compassionate, family-centered care and the Nemours mission of improving the health of children.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for newborns requiring specialized monitoring and treatment.
• Attend high-risk deliveries and support neonatal stabilization and resuscitation.
• Partner with multidisciplinary teams to develop coordinated, individualized plans of care.
• Communicate closely with families, referring physicians, and consulting specialists throughout the care journey.
• Promote quality, safety, evidence-based practice, and continuous improvement in neonatal care.
• Participate in clinical coverage, call responsibilities, and team activities based on the needs of the selected partner location.
