Job summary

Nemours Children's Health in Orlando, Florida seeks a Neonatologist to join the Division of Neonatology at Nemours Children's Hospital. The role focuses on infants with bronchopulmonary dysplasia within a leading pediatric health system, collaborating across subspecialties to deliver comprehensive care.

The position emphasizes program development, education, and scholarly activity, with inpatient NICU duties in a Level IV setting and opportunities for longitudinal care models through outpatient

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
• Eligible for unrestricted Florida medical licensure.
• Interest or experience in chronic lung disease of prematurity, pulmonary hypertension, neonatal respiratory outcomes, or multidisciplinary program development is preferred.
• Academic, quality improvement, or research experience related to neonatal respiratory care welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and help establish a comprehensive BPD program within a nationally recognized children's health system.
• Collaborate with pediatric subspecialties to provide coordinated care.
• Develop evidence-based clinical pathways and quality improvement initiatives for chronic lung disease in premature infants.
• Participate in inpatient neonatal care within a Level IV NICU environment.
• Build longitudinal care models from NICU through outpatient follow-up.
• Engage in education, mentorship, and scholarly activities within the division.
• Contribute to program development, strategic planning, and clinical innovation.
