Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group, in partnership with RWCH, seeks a dedicated Neonatologist to join a 34-bed Level III NICU in Alexandria, LA. The role features a 7-on/7-off schedule and 24/7 in-house NNP coverage, offering a true work-life balance and a collegial, evidence-based team.

Alexandria is a Central Louisiana hub with a strong pediatric/neonatal focus. You will participate in newborn care, nursery rounds, and a robust transport model, with competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Dedicated and compassionate Neonatologist joining RWCH in Alexandria, LA.
• Experience or focus in neonatal intensive care settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in a 34-bed Level III NICU.
• Collaborate within a two Neonatologist / 4 NNP model.
• Oversee in-house NNP coverage 24 hours a day.
• Participate in newborn nursery rounds.
• NNP-led transport team coverage with physician on-site during transports.
