Overview

Exciting opportunity for a Neonatologist at St. Joseph Medical Center, a busy high acuity Level-III NICU in downtown Houston.

Responsibilities

• Manage a high-acuity Level-III NICU with over 3400 annual deliveries.
• Collaborate with OB residency program including OB residents, OB anesthesia, and faculty attendings available 24/7.
• Share 24-hour shifts with other neonatologists; out-of-house night coverage with response time of 30 minutes or less.
• Provide 24/7 in-house coverage with NNP; neonatologists called in as needed at night.
• Coordinate with pediatric hospitalists for normal newborn care.
• Access to pediatric surgery consultation and broad sub-specialty support.
