Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced, board-certified Neonatologist for an exciting role at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center in Fredericksburg, Virginia. This position combines flexible scheduling and clinical leadership to improve community neonatology.

The ideal candidate will work in a Level III NICU, support high-risk deliveries, and contribute to the development of a robust NICU program while enjoying the suburban lifestyle and proximity to Washington, D.C. We offer a competitive compensation package with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be board-certified in pediatrics and eligible for neonatology certification.
• Experience in Level III NICU settings is preferred.
• Ability to provide collaborative care and mentor staff.

• Attend high-risk deliveries and participate in perinatal team care.
• Shape clinical protocols and growth strategies for the NICU program.

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an experienced, board-certified Neonatologist to join and help lead our expanding program at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center (SRMC) in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Your Role & Impact

• Provide collaborative care in the Level III NICU and newborn nursery
• Attend high-risk deliveries and participate in perinatal team care
• Mentor nursing and respiratory therapy teams as NICU volume and acuity expand
• Help shape clinical protocols and growth strategies for a developing NICU program
• Work alongside:
  • 2 Neonatologists
  • 4.5 Neonatal Nurse Practitioners

NICU Overview

• 8-bed Level III NICU
• 10 LDR couplet care rooms
• Combined census: 9–11 patients/day
• Approximately 1,250 annual deliveries
• Strong in-house OB Hospitalist support
