Responsibilities
  • Providing high-quality, compassionate care to neonates in our Level III NICU.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient.
  • Conducting comprehensive examinations of newborns to assess health status and initiate necessary interventions.
  • Interpreting and analyzing diagnostic tests and medical data to diagnose conditions and monitor progress.
  • Communicating effectively with families, providing updates, educating them about their child’s condition, and offering emotional support.
  • Participating in rounds, case conferences, and research studies to stay abreast of the latest developments in neonatal care.
  • Training and mentoring residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals in neonatology.
Qualifications
  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Completion of a Pediatric Residency and Neonatology Fellowship.
  • Board certified or board eligible in Neonatology.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience working in a Level III NICU.
  • Proven experience in neonatal resuscitation and the management of critically ill neonates.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, accurate decisions under pressure.
  • A deep commitment to patient-centered care and a passion for improving the health and well-being of neonates.
