Job Description: Position Title: Neonatologist Department of Neonatology HMFP at BIDMC Harvard Medical School The Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC), and the Department of Neonatology are seeking candidates for a faculty neonatologist position. This full time position includes clinical responsibilities in the neonatal intensive care units at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and its community hospital network, faculty teaching and training responsibilities for Harvard learners including fellows in the Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine training program. This position has expectations for academic productivity in research or medical education. Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center is a patient care, teaching, and research affiliate of Harvard Medical School, and ranks highly in National Institutes of Health funding among independent hospitals nationwide. The perinatal program includes 5,300 deliveries per year, an active high-risk maternal-fetal medicine service, a 62-bed level III NICU, and a well-established, family-centered care model. The Department of Neonatology has a diverse faculty with expertise in health services, clinical epidemiologic, implementation science, and translational research. An infrastructure to support clinical research offers statistical support, facilities, and research support staff. The Neonatal Network serves five community hospital neonatal programs ranging from Level 1B to Level 2B nurseries and accounts for approximately 20% of Massachusetts births annually. The successful candidate should be board certified or fellowship-prepared in neonatology. Academic rank of instructor or assistant professor of pediatrics at Harvard Medical School and salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Pay Range

Pay Range: $187,000 - $275,000 The base pay range reflects what Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (HMFP) reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this role at the time of posting and may be modified from time to time. Actual compensation within this range may be determined based on several factors, including academic appointment, work experience, specialty training, geography of work location, anticipated productivity, FTE basis, and role expectations. In addition to base compensation, this role may be eligible for performance-based incentives, which may include bonuses for productivity and quality
