Overview

The Division of Neonatology is a rapidly growing, academically oriented division. We are currently seeking an Assistant Professor or Associate Professor-level faculty member to join our expanding team with split clinical duties between the University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center (UM-SJMC) and the University of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC).

This position will support the Level III NICU at UM-SJMC while also contributing to clinical care, education, and quality initiatives within the Level IV NICU at UMMC. The successful candidate will hold a faculty appointment in the Department of Pediatrics, University of Maryland School of Medicine, at Assistant Professor or Associate Professor commensurate with experience.

The University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center NICU is a Level III unit serving children across Maryland and the Mid-Atlantic region.

The referenced salary range represents the minimum and maximum salaries for this position and is based on the University of Maryland School of Medicine\'s good faith belief at the time of posting. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. The actual compensation offered to the selected candidate may vary and will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate\'s geographic location, skills, work experience, internal equity, market conditions, education/training and other factors, as reasonably determined by the University.

Expected rank for this position will be Assistant Professor or higher, however, final rank and tenure status will be commensurate with selected candidate\'s experience. Salary range: Assistant/Associate Professor $200,000 $260,000
