Job summary

Froedtert Health is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide specialized care to infants in the Special Care Nursery on an as-needed basis. This on-site role offers flexibility for clinicians maintaining or expanding neonatal experience in a hospital setting.

The position requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, Wisconsin licensure, CCC eligibility or attainment within 18 months, and AHA BLS within 3 months. Join a multidisciplinary team dedicated to family-centered infant care.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Wisconsin license in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• CCC from ASHA or eligible to obtain within 18 months of hire.
• AHA BLS required within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services to infants in the Special Care Nursery.
• Assess patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement and document therapy interventions and patient care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other care team members.
• Support family-centered care through communication, education, and collaboration.
• Participate in Rehabilitation Services activities to enhance patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
