Lifepoint Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Special Care Nursery Level I in Somerset, KY. You will provide direct patient care to newborns, document care, monitor conditions, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe transfers and discharges.

Requirements include an Associates degree in nursing (Bachelor's preferred), KY RN license, BLS, and NICU-specific certifications. This full-time night shift offers clinical growth and comprehensive benefits.

Formación

• Associate's degree in nursing required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Current KY RN license to practice.
• Current BLS certification (or obtained within 90 days).
• S.T.A.B.L.E. certification OR obtained after 6 months nursery experience, but before 12 months.
• Neonatal Resuscitation certification required within 90 days after hire.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct patient care to NICU patients using nursing process.
• Communicate patient condition to care team, physicians, and family.
• Document care provided and monitor patient status.
• Assist with activities of daily living and neonatal tasks.
• Coordinate transfers, discharges, referrals, and family support as needed.
• Educate patient/family about conditions, age-appropriate care, and safety.
