Job summary

Kettering Health Main Campus in Ohio seeks a licensed Respiratory Therapist for full-time night shifts to provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients of all ages, including NICU cases.

Candidates must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist with an Ohio license, ACLS and BLS certifications, and have an Associate degree or higher in Respiratory Care. Responsibilities include ventilator management, ABG analysis, CPAP and bronchoscopy support in a safe, infection-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• Perform clinical respiratory care for patients of all ages.
• Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with Ohio licensure.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Perform with a high degree of competency all clinical aspects of respiratory care for all age groups.
• Ventilator preparation, management and troubleshooting for adult and pediatric patients.
• IPPB/IPPV and other deep breathing maneuvers; CPAP.
• Humidity and aerosol systems; Medical gas systems.
• Postural drainage and percussion; Arterial blood gas puncture analysis and interpretation.
• Non-invasive blood gas monitoring systems; Infection control procedures.
• Bronchoscopy assist; Ensure equipment readiness and safety.
