Job summary

eGenesis in Alabama is hiring a Neonatal Care Technician to provide daily care and monitor the health of piglets at their Neonatal facility. Responsibilities include taking weights and temperatures, adhering to safety protocols, and ensuring compliance with animal welfare and biosecurity practices.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and teamwork skills, experience in animal handling, and be willing to work occasional overnight and weekend shifts. The position provides competitive medical, dental, and vision insurance, along with a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Exposure to animal handling and basic animal health concerns.
• Knowledge of equipment disinfection and infection control practices.
• Eagerness to learn or further knowledge regarding animal health.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily care of piglets in the eGenesis Neonatal facility.
• Record clinical observations and communicate with veterinary staff.
• Promote safety awareness and ensure compliance with biosecurity practices.
