The Physician Assistant Neonatal Post-Graduate Training Program with Pediatrix Neonatology of San Antonio is a 12-month intensive program designed for graduate physician assistants (PAs) seeking to subspecialize in neonatology. This program provides PAs with the crucial skills needed to deliver comprehensive, team-based care for high-risk and convalescing newborns. The program runs 12 months and includes:

• Mentoring
• Didactic teaching
• Simulations
• Skills training
• Clinical experiences

Pediatrix Medical Group of San Antonio:

• The group provides a full range of newborn/neonatal care in three inner-city hospital systems with multiple Level‑II and Level‑III+ NICUs.
• The medical community includes a wide range of mother and infant subspecialists supported by two children’s hospitals for this growing South Texas area.
