Job summary

University of Kentucky College of Medicine is seeking a faculty member to provide inpatient care in the Pediatric Neonatology Intensive Unit. The role includes directing patient care, writing daily progress notes, and overseeing fellows, NNPs, PAs, and ancillary staff in London, KY.

The position involves night and weekend on-call coverage as assigned by the clinical division and is located primarily in London, KY on a full-time basis.

Qualifications

• MD, DO or foreign equivalent.
• Completion of Residency in Pediatrics and Fellowship in Neonatology.
• Board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics and Neonatology; eligible for state medical license.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care to admitted patients in the Neonatal Intensive Unit.
• Write daily progress notes and submit clinical charges.
• Oversee fellows, neonatal nurse practitioners, physician assistants and staff providing neonatal care.
• Participate in night and weekend on-call coverage as assigned by the clinical division.
