Job summary

The University of Kentucky College of Medicine seeks a faculty member for the Neonatal Pediatrics division to provide inpatient care in the NICU andto lead multidisciplinary teams in London, KY. The role emphasizes patient care, teaching, and clinical leadership within a Level IV NICU.

You will supervise fellows and allied health staff, participate in on-call coverage, and contribute to regional and national meetings, while advancing scholarly activity in neonatal medicine.

Qualifications

• MD, DO or foreign equivalent required.
• Completion of Pediatrics residency and Neonatology fellowship.
• Board certification or board eligibility in Pediatrics.
• Board certification or board eligibility in Neonatology.
• License eligibility for state medical license.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
• Write daily progress notes and submit clinical charges.
• Oversee fellows, neonatal nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and ancillary staff.
• Provide teaching to pediatric residents and other health care professionals.
• Attend regional, national, and/or international scientific meetings as needed.
