Job summary

Responsibilities include independent practice within Texas Nurse Practice Act, order/interpret tests, develop care plans, and provide patient education across diverse populations; occasional off-site collaboration is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate-level NP program (ACEN/CCNE) completed.
• Master’s degree in nursing (FNP/PNP) with appropriate NP certification.
• Current Texas APRN licensure under TBON; RN licensure in TX.

Responsibilities

• Works independently within Texas Nurse Practice Act with collaborating physician support.
• Performs history and physical exams across diverse populations.
• Orders/interprets diagnostic tests and develops care plans.
• Provides patient education on health diagnoses and prevention.
• Monitors cost-effectiveness and outcomes while coordinating with care team.
