Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group, Inc. is seeking a Neonatal Hospitalist to join our established neonatal team at Johnston‑Willis Hospital in Richmond, Virginia.

This role focuses on high‑quality care across the NICU and Newborn Nursery in collaboration with experienced neonatologists and NNPs. The position offers in‑house 12 or 24 hour shifts to support work‑life balance, opportunities to attend high‑risk deliveries, and to expand procedural skills in a private 22‑bed Level III NICU serving ~1,700

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in pediatrics.
• Experience in neonatal care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend high‑risk deliveries.
• Provide neonatal resuscitation and stabilization.
• Diagnose and manage newborn medical conditions.
• Care for premature and medically complex infants with Neonatologists.
• Partner with multidisciplinary teams to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a dedicated Neonatal Hospitalist to join our established neonatal team at Johnston‑Willis Hospital in Richmond, Virginia. This position offers the opportunity to provide high‑quality care across the NICU and Newborn Nursery while working alongside experienced neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners in a collaborative environment.

Opportunity Highlights

• 22‑bed Level III NICU with private rooms
• Approximately 1,700 annual deliveries

Responsibilities
