Job summary

Qualifications

• PA license required for practice in Pennsylvania.
• Board certification in neonatal care or equivalent required.
• BLS and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily oversight and care of neonatal patients in a Level IV, 56-bed NICU in collaboration with attending physicians.
• Coordinate ED and inpatient transitions with the care team and families.
• Perform procedures such as PICC lines, UVC lines, UAC lines, chest tubes, lumbar punctures, and intubations as directed.
• Complete required online training: 4-hour EMRCerner training and ground/air transport orientation.
• Participate in on-call and shift blocks; nights and weekends are primary needs.
• Assist with credentialing timelines and orientation processes for new staff.
• Monitor and document patient status, treatments, and outcomes per NICU protocols.
