Trinity Oakland in Pontiac, MI, seeks Neonatal Nurse Practitioners to join a highly skilled team in a Level III NICU. The role focuses on neonatal assessment, evaluation and treatment under attending pediatricians, with responsibilities across deliveries, stabilization and transport coordination.

Ideal candidates hold an NP program or MSN, a Michigan license, DEA registration, and ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications; both full-time and part-time positions are available to fit staffing needs.

Qualifications

• NP program completion or Master’s Degree.
• State of Michigan license required.
• Active and current DEA registration.
• ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications preferred if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assess, evaluate and treat neonates under supervision of attending pediatricians.
• Attend high-risk deliveries and provide resuscitation as needed.
• Provide newborn care and stabilization during deliveries.
• Order and interpret labs and imaging; write appropriate orders for meds and IV therapy.
• Participate in transports to NICU or other transfers.
• Contribute to quality improvement and ongoing staff education.
