Job summary
Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory, NC, seeks a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join the dedicated NICU team. 100% inpatient role with independent practice under local physician supervision, serving neonates born at FRMC (about 30 births per month).

Qualifications
- Master's in Nursing with NNP certification.
- Active North Carolina NP license.
- Minimum 3 years as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, preferably Level II NICU.
- Ability to work independently with strong clinical skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive neonatal care for all neonates delivered at Frye Regional Medical Center.
- Care for infants in the newborn nursery.
- Manage procedures such as incubation, chest tube placement, UVC/UAC insertions, and lumbar punctures.
- Collaborate with neonatal specialists and physicians to ensure optimal patient care.
- Educate and support families through complex neonatal care situations.
- Participate in quality improvement and development of clinical protocols.
