Overview

Excellent opportunity for an experienced neonatal nurse practitioner to join our dedicated group of eight neonatologists and a team of NNPs providing high‑quality care at the Carilion Clinic Children’s Hospital (CCCH) in scenic Roanoke, Virginia. New graduates will be considered only if willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Provide in‑house coverage caring for critically ill neonates and attend high‑risk deliveries.
• Take ownership of an individual patient team (up to 20) across all acuity levels.
• Work 24‑hour shifts with occasional 12‑hour availability.
• Assist in a Level‑IIIB NICU with 700 admissions annually and an average daily census of 47 babies, providing high‑frequency ventilation and nitric oxide therapy.

Qualifications

• Current APRN national specialty certification.
• Minimum of a master’s degree.
