UW Health Northern Illinois is looking for an experienced neonatal nurse practitioner (NNP) to join our 32-bed Level III NICU team. You will be involved in developing care plans, performing procedures, and have opportunities for education and improvement initiatives. UW Health Northern Illinois seeks an experienced neonatal nurse practitioner (NNP) to join our 32 bed Level III NICU team in the Women’s & Children’s Hospital in Rockford, Illinois.

Our Level III NICU is staffed 24/7 by a Neonatologist and Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, who are part of a multidisciplinary team of caregivers providing excellent care to our smallest patients.

In this autonomous position, you will enjoy a collaborative practice which includes rounding to discuss and establish plan of care; performance of invasive procedures within the NNP scope of practice; attendance at high‑risk deliveries, transport, and opportunities to participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff education.

Your clinical support includes:

• Team of 8 neonatologists and 3 NNPs.
• Over a dozen pediatric sub‑specialists from UW Health located in this beautiful facility and available for consultation and collaboration.
• MFM collaboration and 24‑hour in‑house OB hospitalist.
