Job summary

Baystate Health seeks a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Level III NICU team in Springfield, MA. The role supports care in the NICU and Continuing Care Nursery, attends deliveries, and participates in patient transports for high-risk infants.

The ideal candidate has BC Neonatal NP or PA credentials with at least 1 year in a Level III nursery and will join a large, multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• BC Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant credentialing required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Level III nursery.

Responsibilities

• Attend deliveries and participate in patient transports.
• Provide care for high-risk infants in the NICU and Continuing Care Nursery.
• Utilize advanced respiratory support modalities (bubble CPAP, NIMV, CMV, HFOV, HFJV, inhaled nitric oxide).
• Collaborate with respiratory therapists, dietitians, pharmacists, occupational therapists, social workers and case management.
