Job summary

The Valley Hospital in Paramus, NJ seeks a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) or Neonatal Physician Assistant (PA) to provide evidence-based care in our Level III NICU and support the newborn nursery and deliveries as needed.

Working with neonatologists and an interdisciplinary team, you will focus on safety, outcomes, and family-centered care while contributing to quality improvement, education, and program development.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
• Current New Jersey RN and Advanced Practice Nurse licensure
• National certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NCC or equivalent)
• Master’s degree as a Physician Assistant with NJ PA licensure
• Current NJ Physician Assistant licensure
• NCCPA certification
• Neonatal/critical care experience strongly preferred
• NRP certification

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based clinical care to neonates in Level III NICU
• Support newborn nursery and attend routine deliveries as needed
• Collaborate with neonatologists and interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes and family experience
